Work Location: Primarily based in either Carterville or Harrisburg, Illinois, with responsibility for both locations. Occasional travel between locations is required.

Position Summary

Integrated Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR across our multi-location healthcare organization. This role oversees compliance, employee relations, payroll, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and vendor billing.

We are looking for an HR subject matter expert who can take ownership, make sound decisions independently, and serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong HR knowledge with practical judgment, clear communication, and consistent follow-through.

Essential Responsibilities

HR Administration and Compliance

Own daily HR operations, including employee records, benefits administration, leave management, personnel changes, and separations. Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and ensure employment practices comply with applicable requirements.

Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and the employee handbook. Monitor required employment documentation, credentials, and training, addressing gaps promptly.

Employee Relations and Leadership Support

Lead employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, performance management, and corrective action. Provide clear guidance to supervisors and ensure issues are handled fairly, consistently, and with appropriate documentation.

Resolve routine and complex HR matters independently within established authority, involving the Integrator when significant risk or organizational decisions require escalation.

Payroll and Vendor Billing

Process payroll accurately and on time through Paycom. Review timecards, paid time off, compensation changes, and deductions; resolve discrepancies with supervisors; and respond to employee payroll questions.

Manage assigned outside vendor billing responsibilities, including reviewing invoices, coordinating payment, reconciling records, and resolving discrepancies with vendors and Finance.

Recruiting and Hiring

Manage recruiting from job posting through offer acceptance. Screen applicants, coordinate and conduct interviews, complete reference checks, and prepare offers. Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and select candidates who meet the expectations of each role.

Onboarding and Offboarding

Personally conduct day-one onboarding with new hires, including reviewing onboarding policies, company expectations, and required paperwork. Set employees up with system training and coordinate access and department-specific training with the appropriate leaders.

Follow up during the introductory period to ensure onboarding is complete and new hires have the support they need. Manage offboarding documentation, benefits coordination, property return, and access removal.

Qualifications

Demonstrated HR expertise and experience independently managing employee relations, compliance, payroll, recruiting, and onboarding are required. Candidates must be comfortable advising leaders, making decisions, and owning HR processes from start to finish.

Healthcare experience, Paycom familiarity, and vendor billing experience are preferred. A related degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
