Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who can deliver exceptional imaging services to our patients. Leveraging cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic exams, collaborate closely with a network of healthcare professionals, and help ease patients' worries through prompt and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each procedure and process with empathy
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Regularly operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Remain up-to-date on current trends and advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Experience from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred, but not required

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positions
• Excellent communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
