Enjoy making a difference in school settings? This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support PreK-8th grade students through a contract assignment. Work with a manageable caseload of about 50 students, fostering growth and independence while collaborating closely with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
• Previous pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Adaptability and organizational skills to manage caseload efficiently
• Comfortable working with PreK through middle school students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ motor development, sensory processing, and functional needs
• Develop and implement targeted therapy plans for a range of abilities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide both direct and consultative services, offering strategies for classroom integration
• Communicate regularly with educators and families regarding student achievements and recommendations

Role Details & Schedule:

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week
• Preferred schedule: Monday-Friday, but flexible options for three longer shifts per week may be possible
• Serve a single, consistent location with a well-defined caseload
