We are looking for an Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our clients

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports
• Review client QuickBooks files and make adjustments
• Provide payroll and sales records for insurance audits
• Prepare business and individual tax returns
• Process payroll checks for a limited number of clients
• Prepare payroll tax, sales tax, and information returns electronically
• Communicate with fellow employees and clients
• Work on special projects as they arise
• Expand knowledge base of evolving tax and accounting rules
• Meet deadlines throughout the year
• May-December our employees normally work 36 hours per week with Friday afternoons off

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting is a must, including the ability to generate and understand financial statements
• Minimum of Associate's degree and one year or more years accounting experience required
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures
• Current experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain independence and confidentiality regarding client information
• Professional demeanor with clients and fellow employees
