Technical Associate II

Install, repair, and maintain company computer systems Work from standard configurations Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and replace hardware and software Perform standardized tasks under the direction of a supervisor Document, maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems Complete special projects and assignments as directed Consult and advise employees on system use Communicate with employees regarding system issues Perform other duties as assigned Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers Remain stationary 75% of the time or greater Move objects weighing up to 10 lbs Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2 years of technology support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience A+ Certification or equivalent required HDI Support Center Analyst Certificate, HDI Desktop Support Technician Certificate or equivalent required Strong PC skills in a Windows environment Familiarity with a variety of I.T. concepts, practices and procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment May be required to work nights and/or weekends Valid Drivers License Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in installing, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, with strong proficiency in Windows environments and a solid foundation in IT concepts and practices.
