Job Details Position: ICU Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Critical Care Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Setting: 16-bed cardiac critical care unit EMR: Epic Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call: No call required Floating: First to float with low census Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience Experience with ventilator management and respiratory therapy support Experience managing titratable vasoactive drips BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong ability to care for high-acuity cardiac and ICU patients Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced intensive care unit environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality bedside care to critically ill cardiac patients in the ICU Monitor and manage patients with vents, temporary pacemakers, Swan-Ganz catheters, and other advanced equipment Care for post-cath STEMI and NSTEMI patients, direct admits, and medical ICU overflow Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient stabilization and recovery Administer and titrate vasoactive medications according to patient needs and unit protocols Support safe transitions of care and maintain accurate documentation in Epic Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and unit needs while maintaining excellent clinical standards Apply now for this rewarding Indianapolis healthcare job and join a team committed to excellent critical care nursing and patient-centered care.
