Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Location: Not specified. This outpatient physical therapy role involves evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients, focusing on neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, and skeletal health. The position requires delegation to the Physical Therapist Assistant and Aides, with an emphasis on patient assessment, education, and treatment implementation.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Michigan/MI Physical Therapist License, current American Heart Association BLS certification, work history skills checklist pertinent to outpatient physical therapy, completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years, 0 years of experience required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Activities include evaluating patient function through testing, creating and updating treatment regimes in coordination with physicians, and educating patients and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationale. Submission of valid work documentation, including licensure and certifications, is required for consideration.
