Judicial Attorney/Law Clerk to Justice Megan E. Shanahan

What You'll Do Law Clerks/Judicial Attorneys review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions and memoranda involving all areas of the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution. In addition, Law Clerks/Judicial Attorneys research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Justice. What We’re Looking For Applicants must be law school graduates, licensed to practice and in good standing with excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Prior clerkship experience with an Appellate Court Judge or a Supreme Court Justice is preferred. The ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently is required.
