Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role:

This role is responsible for accurately posting and reconciling payments, managing daily cash control, and ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly and on time. Duties include resolving posting discrepancies, maintaining key reconciliations, supporting remote bank deposits, and coordinating closely with banking partners and internal departments.

The position also assists with accounts payable tasks while upholding strict compliance, confidentiality, and customer service standards. Flexibility during peak periods and readiness to handle additional responsibilities as needed are essential.

• Payment Posting & Reconciliation
  • Posts payments from multiple sources to lease contracts
  • Researches and resolves rejects; balances and saves daily cash control sheets
  • Uploads and reconciles LBX/APS/ACH transactions, making adjustments as needed
  • Corrects misapplied payments and processes adjustments from internal departments
  • Maintains daily reconciliations, including direct deposits, suspense, next-day air, and prepayment deposits
  • Coordinates with Booking to ensure accurate and timely payment applications
• Banking & Deposit Processing
  • Manages remote bank deposits, daily file saving, and batch balancing
  • Maintains productive relationships with banking personnel for issue resolution
  • Oversees scanner maintenance and replacements as needed
  • May require an occasional bank run for an in-person deposit
• Accounts Payable
  • Supports accounts payable for funding and operations, including but not limited to, invoice verification, check processing, approvals, and distribution
  • Maintains FedEx supplies and account; files payable documentation
  • Works overtime during month-end or as needed and performs additional duties as assigned.

About You:

• High School graduate or equivalent. Required
• Bachelor's degree in finance and business. Preferred
• 3+ years of high volume AP and AR experience. Required
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in managing documents and tracking information across multiple systems
• Dependable backup support for administrative and financial processing tasks
• Strong writing, editing, and grammar skills.
• Advanced PC skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including word and Excel.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work within timelines and consistently meet deadlines

The pay range for this role is $21.00 - $24.00.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
