Elevator Operator

Elevator Operator - Arkansas City, KS East Plant 8477am-5pm 6 days a week. Must be available for 2nd shift as needed.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDump and trucks and railcarsMeasure and monitor grain binsOperate grain conveying, storage and cleaning equipmentAssist with grain handling including receiving of grain commodities, grading procedures & bin cleanout proceduresGeneral housekeeping duties, including, picking-up grain spills, dumping damaged/trashed grain and cleaning equipmentOther duties as required.Required Skills and QualificationsMaintain a positive and respectful attitude.Takes ownership of his/her areaDemonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed.Exhibit consistent and prompt attendance in work history.Work history that reflects an ability to commit to working with a company/entity for an extended period.Work history in an industrial environment with over 1 year of experience (preferred)Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to; prolonged periods of standing, sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, using cleaning tools, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs.Willing to work overtime, shift work and weekends, as needed.Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements.Education or Work ExperienceHigh school education or equivalentMeaningful work experience in an Industrial/Commercial environment.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
