Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Springfield, IL, 62704. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision in every project. Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques.
- Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of welding equipment as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder fabricator, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks effectively.
