Sutter West Bay Medical Group is seeking an experienced part-time (0.50 FTE

\n

\n with a potential pathway to future W-2 employment opportunities) Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, physician-led team in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern ambulatory urgent care setting with strong clinical leadership and operational support.\n

Position Highlights\n

\n
• \n

  Evaluate, diagnose, and treat non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan

\n
• \n

  Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including laboratory studies, EKGs, and imaging

\n
• \n

  Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice and scope of licensure

\n
• \n

  Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

\n
• \n

  Ensure timely referrals, escalation of care, and coordination when clinically indicated

\n
• \n

  Practice within a highly respected, physician-led organization

\n

Qualifications:\n

\n
• \n

  Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

\n
• \n

  National certification as an NP (FNP or equivalent) or PA-C

\n
• \n

  Active, unrestricted California license

\n
• \n

  Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)

\n
• \n

  BLS required; ACLS and PALS as applicable

\n
• \n

  Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or ambulatory acute care experience required
