We're hiring a General Production Worker - Rotary Prep to join a growing manufacturing company that produces custom rotary dies used in the packaging industry.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, construction, or woodworking experience who are looking to learn new skills, work in a stable environment, and build a long-term career with room for advancement.What You'll DoAs a Rotary Prep team member, you'll prepare custom rotary dies for production using hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare rotary dies after laser or water-jet cutting for the next stage of productionUse hand and power tools to modify and assemble die componentsEnsure dies are properly prepared for blade and rubber installationFollow work orders, blueprints, visual instructions, and specificationsPerform measurements and verify dimensions using basic math skillsOperate manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workstationAssist in other production departments as neededLift and move materials safely, including team lifts for larger diesWork closely with coworkers to maintain quality and productivity standardsUse computers to access work orders, instructions, and production informationWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAt least 6 months of manufacturing, production, or assembly experienceExperience safely using hand and power toolsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and assist with heavier team liftsAbility to follow written and visual instructions accuratelyBasic math and measuring skillsComfortable using computers and reviewing electronic work ordersStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand for the duration of the shiftReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishPreferred ExperienceHigh school diploma or GEDConstruction, woodworking, assembly, or fabrication experienceExperience working in a team-oriented production environmentInterest in learning additional manufacturing skills and cross-training opportunitiesOpportunities for GrowthThis company believes in developing employees from within.
