Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

*Overview*
We are seeking a professional Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, experience with commercial vehicles, and the ability to load and unload cargo as needed. A valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with relevant endorsements is required to ensure safe and legal operation of our fleet.

*Responsibilities*

* Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
* Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
* Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to schedules and delivery deadlines.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all trips.
* Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues.
* Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety standards.
* Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

*Experience*

* Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with freight delivery across various vehicle types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
* Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently.
* Prior experience with route driving and delivery logistics preferred.
* Familiarity with load & unload procedures and equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
* Experience handling different types of freight including freight that requires specialized handling like refrigerated goods or hazardous materials is advantageous. Candidates should possess a valid CDL with relevant endorsements for the specific vehicle types they will operate. Prior experience in delivery driver roles combined with excellent driving records will be highly valued for this position.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
