Outside Sales Representative & Design Consultant

StruXure (under D5 Capital Holdings) is a leading provider of premium outdoor living solutions, specializing in fully customizable motorized pergolas and smart outdoor environments. We help customers transform their outdoor spaces into functional, year-round extensions of their home or business. We operate at the intersection of design, precision fabrication, and skilled installation, and as we continue to grow, we're looking for motivated, energetic individuals to join our team.

About the Role

This is an outside sales, commission-based position (exempt). As an Outside Sales Representative & Design Consultant, you'll run in-home consultations with residential homeowners, present tailored outdoor living solutions, and close on the same visit.

Leads are company-generated— no lead generation or door-knocking required! Every new hire completes a paid training program before stepping into the field, learning a proven in-home sales methodology. New team members start on a rolling monthly basis, with training beginning the second Monday of each month.

Candidates for this role must be located in the Salt Lake City, UT metro area

What You'll Do

• Run in-home consultations with residential homeowners
• Present tailored outdoor living solutions based on each homeowner's needs
• Close sales on the same visit, owning the full process from consultation to close
• Complete the company's paid training program and apply the proven in-home sales methodology
• Manage your own schedule and pipeline to consistently meet performance expectations
• Take accurate on-site measurements and assess site conditions to inform design and quoting
• Log leads, activity, and pipeline status in the CRM (i360) to keep your pipeline current
• Build and present accurate, tailored quotes/proposals during the consultation
• Follow up on active leads and generate referrals from closed customers
• Represent the StruXure brand and product line knowledgeably in every home visit

What You Bring

Required:

• Ability to complete the company's paid training program prior to fieldwork
• Strong self-motivation and ability to own your schedule and results with minimal oversight
• Professional, character-driven presence when representing the company in customers' homes
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
• Comfortable using a CRM/tablet-based tools to manage leads and generate quotes on-site

Preferred:

• Prior experience in sales or home improvement (not required — training provided)
• Track record of outperforming peers in a performance-based environment
• Coachability and willingness to follow a proven, structured sales system
• Familiarity with design, construction, or home improvement products

Compensation

• On-target earnings of $100,000–$200,000 annually, earned through commission on closed sales. This is a commission-only position with no cap on earnings.
