Job Details: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a deep understanding of technical and mechanical systems and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize the risk of breakdowns and ensure the longevity of machinery and equipment.
• Operate a variety of tools and machinery to carry out maintenance tasks.
• Monitor the operation of machinery and equipment, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
• Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring it is set up correctly and safely.
• Understand and adhere to all basic safety regulations and procedures in the workplace.
• Diagnose faults and malfunctions using a variety of testing methods and tools.
• Repair or replace faulty components as necessary, using a range of tools and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance work carried out, including any parts or components used.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing methods and procedures to ensure the best possible performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance, operation monitoring, and control.
• Strong technical understanding, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical faults.
• Proficient in the use of a variety of machines and tools.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Solid mechanical skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Familiarity with a variety of metals and steel, and their appropriate uses within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of complex machinery and equipment.
• Strong understanding of basic safety regulations and procedures in the workplace.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
