Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Step Down Unit Duration: Contract Shift: 36 or 48 hours Hours per Shift: Flexible Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience, ACLS, BLS Description: The RN will be responsible for caring for patients in a step down unit. The unit will accommodate 16-20 beds with a patient ratio of 1 to 4. Common conditions treated include Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, TDM2, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to patient care are expected.
