Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Service Operations in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic retail and mall location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations. Report observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
