Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, tenant spaces as assigned, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
