You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 03:45 PM - 11:15 PM Sun: 03:45 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas. Monitor for unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and policy concerns, and report observations through established site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pepper spray certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
