As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity and communicate with team members. Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with entry directions and escalation of access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Support a professional and welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence, patrols, and adherence to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
