You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
