Typical Day Preparing patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Assisting physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures, anticipating clinical needs to support efficient, high-quality care Performing clinical tasks such as administering injections, collecting specimens, conducting point-of-care testing, and completing other duties within scope of practice Accurately documenting patient information, test results, and provider instructions within the electronic medical record to support continuity of care Coordinating patient flow by preparing exam rooms, maintaining supplies, and helping ensure appointments run efficiently Providing clear, compassionate education to patients regarding medications, treatment plans, follow-up appointments, and preventive care Scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and collaborating with the care team to support seamless patient experiences Contributing to a collaborative team environment where professionalism, communication, and patient-centered care are shared priorities Pursuing ongoing professional development through training, continuing education, and organizational resources that support long-term career growth This Role Might Be For You If That: Clear, compassionate communication defines how you interact with patients, families, and colleagues You enjoy balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Attention to detail and organization help you deliver accurate, efficient patient care Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive patient experience are important to you Adaptability allows you to manage changing priorities while maintaining professionalism Continuous learning and professional growth motivate you Collaborative teamwork is something you value and actively contribute to every day Schedule & Requirements This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am – 5 pm, allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining a work-life balance. You hold a current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (AAMA, AECA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NCMA, or NHA) and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A minimum of 6 months CMA experience is required and electronic medical record (EMR) systems knowledge, particularly Epic, is preferred.
