RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 patients
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (all RNs regardless of specialty)
• Must float to all facility campuses as needed for patient care
• Care for general surgical patients with pre-op and post-op needs
• Handle medical overflow patients including BiPAP and drips (except true cardiac)
• Manage patients with various diagnoses including accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, chest tubes, colostomy care, and wound management
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation
• Must maintain zero-tolerance policy compliance for tardiness and unexcused absences
