FWS - Engineering Lab Student Assistant

Position Description Being part of our Open Lab program in the Fab Lab. Operating Fab Lab equipment, like laser cutter, 3D printer. Assisting students using the Fab Lab equipment and help them with their projects. Interact with students and instructors to determine their needs. Organizing tools, supplies and lab equipment and assist in maintaining a clean lab and work environment. Support the instructional labs for Physics and Engineering, set up lab equipment for instructions and remove after class. Report broken and missing equipment, performing minor repairs. Requirements Punctual and reliable Good communication skills Work independently Ability to lift and move lab equipment Help and assist with students and faculty. Willing to learn new things and be part of a team. This is a Federal Work Study position and applicants must be eligible.
