Wage: $11–$16 per hour (based on experience) Job Description Job Description Rock N Roll Sushi is looking for a hardworking, adaptable Kitchen Staff member to help keep our back‑of‑house running smoothly. This role is hands‑on and dynamic — you’ll support food prep, assist cooks, help maintain kitchen cleanliness, and keep operations rockin’ behind the scenes. Experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn go a long way. Job Requirements What You Will Do Set up and organize kitchen stations with the necessary tools and equipment. Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service. Wash, chop, shred, and prep ingredients as directed by management. Plate and garnish dishes according to RNR Sushi standards. Present food attractively and consistently. Store food correctly in cold storage and follow rotation procedures. Monitor inventory and restock items as needed. Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen throughout your shift. Assist with dishwashing and proper storage of clean items. Support cooks, chefs, and other team members as needed. Help unload deliveries and organize supplies. Follow all food hygiene, sanitation, and health code guidelines. Complete shared daily cleaning tasks. Report any issues or concerns to the Kitchen Manager. Qualifications & Skills Minimum age: 16 years old. Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge of food safety is a plus. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment. Team‑focused mindset and willingness to help wherever needed. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
