Radiology - CT Tech

Rad Tech General Imaging

CT/Rad Tech dual modality position available. Free-standing emergency department with 12 beds. No trauma designation and offers 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and ultrasound services. New facility opened in 2020. Average of 45 emergency department visits per day. Perform an average of 30 total diagnostic radiology and CT studies per day. First-time travelers accepted if familiar with CT scanners. Patient types include emergency department patients only. Dual-modality DX/CT technologist role required. Responsibilities include performing both CT and general X-rays. Additional skills may include obtaining general vitals, assisting patients, and using EKG. Chaperoning some ultrasound exams may be part of the role. Teamwork is expected within the department. Technology used includes EMR and RIS systems. Department specific equipment includes a variety of CT and X-ray machines. Scrub color is black.
