We are currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare family specializing in Acute Care on our Progressive Care unit. Overview of the Progressive Care Unit Our unit comprises 30 beds where we care for a large spectrum of patients, monitoring and accommodating step‑down, med‑surg, and swing patients. Our patients are predominantly long‑term and chronically ill. Job Summary Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well‑being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply; confirm with NCBON). Preferred: One year of hospital nursing experience. Certificate: BLS Healthcare Provider.
