DD&AI Intern - AI and Process Automation

Genmab seeks an intern to develop and operationalize an AI-assisted solution for automating request and agreement execution processes. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to map workflows, build prototypes, validate outputs, and document solutions over a 10-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Map current processes with stakeholders to identify manual steps and define automation requirements and success measures
• Review contracts, proposals, and documents to identify information supporting automated checks, routing, or accrual preparation
• Build and test AI-assisted prototypes using approved tools, refining through stakeholder feedback
• Validate extracted information and outputs against source documents; identify exceptions and establish human review checkpoints
• Document solution, test results, limitations, and operating procedures; present findings and provide handover guidance

Requirements

• Pursuing degree in computer science, data science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field
• Foundational programming or scripting skills and ability to work with structured and unstructured data
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts and interest in document analysis and process automation
• Ability to break business problems into clear requirements and test results systematically
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to identify missing information and inconsistencies
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical work to business stakeholders
• Ability to collaborate, manage project scope, and handle confidential documents responsibly
