Location: State College, Pennsylvania

Pay Rate: $53 to $56/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night Shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; 3x12-hour shifts, weekends up to every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in State College, Pennsylvania. This role supports childbearing women, neonates, and families through assessment, care planning, labor support, newborn care, education, and safe clinical documentation.


Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for laboring patients, postpartum patients, neonates, and families
• Assess maternal and newborn needs, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
• Perform initial newborn assessment, stabilization, and support bonding between family members
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and women's health needs
• Document care accurately using EPIC and collaborate with the Women & Children's Services team


Requirements
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor And Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS, And NRP Certifications Required
• EPIC experience required
• Must be available for night shifts, weekend rotation, and holiday coverage as required
