Mechanical Project ManagerA well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial mechanical construction from preconstruction through closeout, with full ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and coordination with field leadership.Projects include commercial, healthcare, industrial, and institutional mechanical work, with scopes covering HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related MEP systems.Key ResponsibilitiesManage mechanical construction projects from kickoff through final closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reportsCoordinate closely with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and vendorsReview drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of workManage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentationServe as a primary point of contact for clients and design teamsEnsure projects are executed safely, on time, and to quality standardsSupport procurement, buyout, and coordination efforts as neededRequired Experience5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in mechanical or HVAC constructionStrong background in commercial mechanical systemsExperience managing multiple projects or large single-project scopesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsComfortable working closely with field leadership and jobsite teamsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsPreferred ExperienceDesign-build or design-assist project deliveryHealthcare, industrial, or large commercial project experienceFamiliarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)Mechanical engineering or construction management degree a plusCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive base salary based on experiencePerformance bonuses or incentive opportunitiesFull benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysLong-term stability with a contractor that has a strong backlog of workWhy This OpportunityStable contractor with consistent work and long-term projectsOpportunity to run meaningful mechanical work, not just paperworkSupportive team environment with strong field leadershipClear path for growth and advancement
