School Social Worker

School social worker providing comprehensive support services to students during a 39-week contract. Responsible for assessing needs, developing plans, and collaborating with staff to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive social work services to students within the school setting.
Assess student needs and develop tailored support plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement student-centered strategies.
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
State licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or School Social Work License.
Minimum of 1 year of school social work experience.
Ability to work Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Background check clearance.
Excellent collaboration skills.
Empathy, patience, and adaptability.
