Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The unit provides care for a diverse group of patients and is organized to support optimal patient recovery and care.

• Number of Beds: 36 beds
• Number of Staff: 55 employees
• Day Shift Staff: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
• Night Shift Staff: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 2 Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Type of Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, SCDs
• EMR System: Meditech

General Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for post-operative patients.
• Monitor and maintain drains and wound care management.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required: BLS certification
• Preferred Skills: Experience with post-operative patient care. Proficient in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management.

Dress Code

The dress code for this position requires navy blue and white scrubs. Hoodies, pull-overs, and T-shirts are not permitted.

Experience Required

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred for this position.
