Assistant Nurse Manager - Medical ICU - Evening

Seeking a compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to oversee a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. This leadership role supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The ANM acts as a mentor, resource, and clinical leader to foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage staff: hiring, training, performance evaluations, professional development, and staffing assignments. Ensure patient care aligns with planned interventions, documentation, and collaborative care plans based on assessments and diagnoses. Participate in budget development, monitor staffing productivity, and respond to operational needs. Lead staff communication, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary actions. Maintain a safety-conscious environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) and RN licensure. 2+ years of RN experience; leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. ICU experience and prior supervisory experience are advantageous.
