Responsibilities * Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs. * Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. * Educate clients on the benefits of different massage therapies and recommend personalized treatment plans. * Maintain clear communication with clients regarding their comfort levels and adjust techniques accordingly. * Ensure all treatments adhere to safety standards and professional licensing requirements, including CPR certification. * Keep detailed records of each session, noting client progress and treatment outcomes for future reference. * Uphold the highest standards of patient service and confidentiality while fostering a relaxing environment. Skills * Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. * Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments effectively. * Excellent patient communication skills to build trust and ensure client comfort throughout sessions. * Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pain management and therapeutic practices. * Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop appropriate treatment strategies. * Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients achieve their wellness goals. * Knowledge of med spa operations and experience in medical or clinical settings is a plus.
