Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a full-service OR environment handling 55–60 cases per day across 19 surgical suites
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 7th weekend; specialty call (ortho/neuro or cardiac/thoracic) assigned based on individual competency
• Rotate holiday coverage in coordination with permanent staff
• Collaborate with surgical teams including CST-certified OR techs, 24/7 respiratory therapy, and 24/7 pharmacy support
• Complete a one-week unit-specific orientation prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Demonstrated basic competency across multiple surgical service lines
• Accurately completed skills checklist reflecting true experience level

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub in addition to circulating (scrubbing preferred but not required)
• Experience in orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, or thoracic surgical cases
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
