Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a CVOR position requiring 2+ years of hospital specialty experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit with 6 operating rooms
• Variable shift schedule with 4x10 or 5x8 options, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating as needed within the facility
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in the CVOR specialty
• BLS certification required
• CST certification from NBSTSA or NCCT required
• State licensure required if applicable
• Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Support cardiovascular surgical procedures within a dedicated CVOR unit
• Adhere to unit dress code including navy blue scrubs and grooming standards
• Body art should be covered whenever possible and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility with no local candidates accepted
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
