Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAccountant / Bookkeeper Oil & Gas LaboratoryCore Mineralogy Inc. | Broussard, LA$20$25/hour | Full-TimeCore Mineralogy Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to support the accounting and administrative operations of our oil and gas laboratory.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and send customer price quotesManage purchase orders and PO numbersPrepare and send customer invoicesSubmit invoices through platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, OpenInvoice, and similar systemsTrack payments and follow up on past-due invoices using QuickBooksAnswer phones and communicate professionally with customersEnter samples and maintain chain-of-custody documentationAssist with general office and administrative dutiesRequirementsCandidates must meet one of the following experience/education paths:Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance + 1 year of relevant work experience, OR3 years of professional Accountant/Bookkeeper experience if no degreeAdditional requirements:QuickBooks experience requiredAbility to pass a background checkAbility to pass a drug testStrong organizational and attention-to-detail skillsProfessional communication and customer service skillsPreferred QualificationsAccounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experienceExperience with customer procurement and invoicing platformsOil & gas or laboratory experienceBenefits$20$25 per hourMedical InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)If you're looking for an opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a specialized oil and gas laboratory environment, apply today to join Core Mineralogy Inc.
