Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack AI

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• We require strong Python expertise and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC).
• We look for proven engineering leadership, architecture, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• We need experience with database design and modelling on modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• We require practical experience using co-pilot or Claude-code to design and deliver end-to-end applications.
• We look for a working understanding of multi-cloud environments, with exposure to AWS.
• We need experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate setting using one or more modern programming and database query languages.
• We require experience in Risk and PnL within Markets.
• We look for an understanding of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• We need demonstrated experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, with clear expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We require a strong grasp of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• We value experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption of AI-assisted delivery practices.
• Preferred: knowledge of financial markets and products, including Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Treasury concepts.

• We lead full-stack development of UI dashboards in React/TypeScript and server-side components in Python.
• We deliver data pipelines and ETL solutions on platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• We execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• We ensure large language models are used as controlled, well-understood components within the software engineering lifecycle.
• We lead the use of LLMs for structured requirements analysis, translating business and regulatory needs into clear technical specifications.
• We establish best practices for prompt-driven design and development, treating prompts as versioned and reviewable engineering artefacts.
• We ensure prompt strategies support determinism, reproducibility, and traceability in regulated settings.
• We make sure LLM-driven systems meet enterprise reliability and resilience expectations.
• We supervise how LLM-assisted and agent-driven development is carried out, ensuring strengths, limitations, and risk profiles are understood and appropriately applied.
• We drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• We apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain capabilities, including approved AI-assisted development and automation tools, to increase the value delivered through automation.
