PROGRAM COORDINATOR

PROGRAM COORDINATOR This is a full-time, hourly role at Food For Thought Outreach. This role will work in both Okaloosa and Walton Counties. OVERVIEW The Program Operations Coordinator provides continuity within our full scope of service year-round with their organizational knowledge and understanding of our standard operating procedures. Program Operations Leads must develop a strong understanding of the history, culture, and mission of the organization. In addition, a commitment to our organizational standards and best practices must be demonstrated consistently. A Program Operations Coordinator will be on-site with our volunteers in our pantry locations or out in the community, providing services at least 50% of the time. This position plays a critical role in the training and retention of our volunteer base. It is the responsibility of this role to educate our volunteers on our mission, programs, and opportunities to support the organization. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Highly adaptable 3+ years of experience working on a team or leading a team in person Experience with critical thinking and problem-solving in a professional environment Strong organizational skills and personal time management Experience with Google Suite and willing to learn new software programs Enjoy working with a team in a culture of high-performance expectations Strong in-person and written communication skills. Comfortable talking with small groups of people. Enjoy working with volunteers of all ages and small and large groups Passion for our mission and commitment to the work required to deliver our program services.
