The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) VISTA program works to place and support AmeriCorps VISTAs at New York nonprofit organizations, for the purpose of building organizational capacity to provide low-income immigrant communities with diverse anti-poverty services.

Member Duties : VISTA PLACEMENT: Women's Empowerment Coalition of NYC (WECNYC), MISSION: WECNYC's mission is to advocate and build power and unity among women from diverse communities through storytelling, education, organizing and leadership development. VISTA ACTIVITIES: The NYIC VISTA will work on fundraising (e.g., events, donor management system implementation) projects and communications (e.g., social media, promotion, website management) projects in support of the organization's direct service/programmatic work. SERVICE LOCATION: 437 77th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11209. LIVING ALLOWANCE: $32,262
