Job Description Job Description FULL-TIME OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN Our practice culture is to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. Experience is not required and on the job training will be provided. Must be multi-task oriented, possess high energy, have a positive/professional attitude with strong communication skills and a team player approach. Responsibilities include assisting physicians with ophthalmic procedures, performing prescreening exams, advanced diagnostic testing, administering medications, providing staff training and patient education, maintaining medical/surgical supplies, and assisting with maintaining an effective efficient practice. We do service areas outside of the Charleston area so travel required but transportation provided to out of area locations.
