Construction Superintendent

The Fordy Group has partnered with a leading General Contractor in Raleigh, North Carolina, to recruit an experienced Superintendent to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong background in commercial construction who is looking to work on high-profile projects with a respected and financially stable contractor. The Opportunity As Superintendent, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved. Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Management team. Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate project activities with all stakeholders. Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed to specification. Identify and resolve site-related challenges proactively. Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and daily logs. Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners. Requirements 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction. Proven track record delivering commercial projects successfully. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and site management. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating complex project activities. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency with construction management software is preferred.
