Phlebotomist Opportunity in Hainesport, NJ
Position: Phlebotomist 4727
Location: Hainesport, NJ
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-12pm; Saturday 7:30am-12:30pm
Projected duration: 3 months + potential for perm
Benefits are available
Exciting opportunity to float between Delran, Hainesport, Columbus, Burlington, Medford, Mt. Laurel with mileage expenses paid
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
Summary:
Seeking a phlebotomist to assist in various duties and provide workflow recommendations.
Position Responsibilities:
Skills in blood draws, labeling specimens, and recording maintenance data required
Ensuring proper handling and storage of specimens according to procedures
Effectively communicate the venipuncture process to patients
Experience using straight needles and butterfly needles
Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and follow test orders
Package and store specimens for transport
Stay compliant with OSHA and DEP regulations
Attend department trainings and assist with inquiries
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Phlebotomy certification required
Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience
