General Warehouse

Location: Knoxville, TN

Hours : 8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.
Pay : $15 and up depending on pay may be more

Position Summary:
Family-owned decorated apparel and promotional products company in Knoxville, TN. We're looking for a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to focus on pre-production checks - making sure the right shirts, in the right counts, get where they need to go before a job ever hits the production floor. This role also supports our broader shipping and receiving operation, including unloading trucks as needed. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

Responsibilities

• Count shirts that have been received against the purchase order to confirm accurate quantities • Move counted, verified shirts into the correct production centers

• Pull blank shirts from warehouse stock to be counted alongside incoming POs • Perform pre-production checks to catch shortages, overages, or discrepancies before jobs move to production

• Assist with unloading trucks as needed

• Support general shipping and receiving duties, including staging outbound orders and receiving inbound freight

• Keep receiving and stock areas organized so counts stay accurate and product is easy to locate • Report discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate lead or manager • Follow all safety procedures around dock equipment, pallet jacks/forklifts, and freight handling

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail - this role is built around accurate counts, not speed at the expense of accuracy

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for most of an 8-hour shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Basic math and counting accuracy; comfortable reconciling counts against paperwork or a PO • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required

• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience a plus, but not necessary - we'll train

Preferred Qualities

• Highly organized and methodical when counting and staging product • Comfortable catching and flagging errors before they become someone else's problem • Team player who's willing to jump in on trucks or the dock when needed • Comfortable with repetitive physical motion (reaching, lifting, bending) • Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed in the warehouse

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
