Outpatient Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist at Thrive Ahead Co., you’ll provide individual and group OT services to adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, OCD, depression, and related experiences. This role blends direct client care with education, content creation, and collaboration across our wellness team. This position begins part-time with a clear path to full-time. Compensation: $45–$55/hour (direct clinical care), $20–$25/hour (admin/indirect) Location: Hybrid with at least 15 in-person hours/week (Bucktown, Chicago) Reports to: Jenn Graus, LCPC and Practice Owner Deep, thoughtful client work, executive functioning support, and collaboration. You’ll be helping clients build routines, navigate executive dysfunction, address avoidance and shame, and create systems that actually work in their real lives. How You’ll Be Part of the Team This role combines clinical care, content creation, and team collaboration within a holistic wellness model. Provide 1:1 and group OT sessions for neurodivergent adults (ADHD, autism, anxiety, OCD, etc.). Support executive functioning: routines, time management, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through. Address avoidance, shame, and burnout using trauma-informed, values-based strategies. Help clients build functional systems and modify environments for success. Client Support & Care Coordination Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (therapists, psychiatrists, PCPs). Support career exploration, social skills, and daily functioning. Maintain timely, accurate documentation and client communication. Develop blogs, short-form videos, and workshops. Translate OT concepts into accessible, practical tools. Participate in community outreach and professional networking. Team Collaboration & Operations Attend weekly team meetings, supervision, and trainings. Contribute to internal projects and cross-referrals. Engage in a collaborative, community-centered team culture. This Role is Perfect for You If You’re passionate about working with neurodivergent adults. Required Skills Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Experience working with adult ADHD and neurodivergent populations. Experience with both individual and group services. Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work hybrid with at least 15 in-person hours/week. Evening availability (3 evenings/week OR 1 evening + 1 weekend day). Bonus Points If: You have experience with chronic pain or long-term conditions. You enjoy content creation or community-based education.
