Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A vibrant educational setting has an immediate need for a skilled speech-language pathologist to work full time, offering essential services to a dedicated caseload of up to 45 students in a half-day program (AM/PM sessions). This dynamic role runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027 (dependent on snow days), with daily hours from 8:15 to 3:30 and a 30-minute lunch break.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Missouri SLP licensure (or eligibility prior to the start date)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
• Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Team player committed to collaborative work within PLCs and with the IEP team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy in accordance with IEP goals
• Develop and execute engaging weekly lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain thorough records, documenting and reporting progress toward goals three times per year
• Serve as IEP case manager: schedule, lead meetings, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, arrival and dismissal procedures, and other program and district initiatives
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned to support the success of all learners
