Medical Research Associate(Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant/EMT)

Icon Clinical Research

ICON seeks a Medical Research Associate to support clinical trial operations in San Antonio on a PRN basis. The role involves phlebotomy, data collection, documentation, and collaboration with research teams to ensure study compliance and timely completion.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing clinical trials and research studies including data collection
Support research team with literature reviews, data entry, and protocol analysis
Maintain accurate research documentation ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet study timelines and research objectives
Assist with preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and stakeholder presentations

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency with medical assistant training or allied health certification
Current certification as phlebotomist, medical assistant, or EMT with 2+ years experience
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with research software and data entry tools
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
