Enterprise Account Executive – Energy Optimization Platform
The Role
We are hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales of a battery optimization and trading platform into IPPs and utilities.
This is a high-impact, early commercial hire who owns complex enterprise sales cycles and helps scale revenue as the business transitions from founder-led sales to a structured GTM engine. You'll operate at the intersection of energy markets, data, and software, engaging both technical and executive stakeholders across highly strategic deals.
What You'll Do
- Lead and close enterprise deals ($250K–$500K+) across IPPs and utilities
- Manage complex, 6–12 month, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Sell a data-driven optimization platform into both technical and commercial buyers
- Engage C-level and senior stakeholders with strong executive presence
- Partner closely with Sales Engineering on enterprise deals
- Build pipeline across target enterprise accounts
- Help shape GTM strategy, messaging, and sales process in a build-phase environment
- Own forecasting and pipeline visibility
What Success Looks Like
- Successfully navigate and close complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals
- Build meaningful pipeline in a non-fully-defined sales motion
- Contribute to the next phase of growth and revenue scaling
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internally across product and leadership
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience closing enterprise SaaS deals ($200K+)
- Background in energy + SaaS strongly preferred (power markets, grid, storage, or adjacent)
- Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strong technical credibility - comfortable selling a data-heavy product
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Thrives in early-stage, build environments
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
