We are a mission-driven organization operating year-round client care facilities. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to drive key operations across employee relations, regulatory compliance, benefits management, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Coaching: Serve as a trusted advisor to management on policy interpretation, performance documentation, timekeeping, and workplace solutions.
Compliance & HR Operations: Manage FMLA administration, Workers’ Compensation claims, TWC/EEOC responses, and ensure compliance with all state and federal employment laws.
Benefits & Compensation: Coordinate open enrollment, oversee benefit plan adjustments, process billing invoices, and assist with job description evaluations and compensation alignment.
HRIS & Data Management: Maintain records, update organizational charts, generate key HR metrics, and ensure full audit readiness.
Full-Cycle Talent Support: Partner on recruitment, onboarding programs, and retention initiatives to drive employee engagement.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
Experience: 3+ years of progressive HR experience handling multi-faceted generalist functions (1–2 years required minimum).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP, Paycom, Paylocity) and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, ADA, and Texas employment laws.
Certifications: SHRM-CP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred
Requirements: Routine travel between locations is required.
If working remotely, internet access and webcam is the responsibility of remote employees. Remote employees must ensure the ability to continue taking calls and working productively in the event of service disruption at their remote location. Securing a hotspot is strongly recommended.
